Schools in California That Have PLC

For those who've remembered my past posts, i have been trying to decide my future with the Corps and often asking for advice on what to do and what not. Well right now im aiming on going reserves when i turn 18, then going through PLC and finishing my degree. Then, go active enlistment for 4 more years and after 8 years of experience hopefully become an experienced officer. The thing is, Ive been trying to find universities and colleges in California that have Marine PLC programs, but haven't found any yet. A list of UC's and CSU's that contain plc programs would be nice. Thanks Marines!

You might want to contact somebody who knows more about this:

Click on more information on upper left and request.

Or contact CSU and ask for a list of participating colleges:

Same thing for the University of California system:

The PLC program is not affiliated with any college - it is run by Marine Officer Candidate School out of Quantico and is open only to college students who meet certain requirements. It does not matter what college you attend, provided it is a regionally accredited school that awards bachelor's degrees (associates degree students don't qualify, nor do vocational schools).

To get into the PLC pipeline, you will need to contact an Officer Selection Office (OSO).

The only Marine Officer programs that are run at a university or college are the "Marine Option" programs within a Naval ROTC program -- so you would need to look for a college that offers Naval ROTC.

03Mike is spot on except I will add that community college students must sign a letter of intent to transfer to a 4-year university. Those who don't follow through are in breach of their contract and dropped.
