    graduate

    my recruiter says its hard to contract me since i'm a graduate. i was wondering how long that would take but i see some people that are graduates getting contracted more than high schoolers. is that a problem

    Recruiting is a numbers game. Certain number of mos slots, reserve:active female:male ratio, graduates:high schoolers. Its hard to say exactly how long it takes. My buddies I went to high school with are barely arriving at their mos schools and Ive already been on two deployments. They didnt even wait a full year to dep in after high school. That was back in '09

    When I joined, the first Marine recruiter I talked to played the numbers game, so I just went across town to a different Marine recruiter. They may be able to help you out.
