Supply and Accounting
Hello all, quick question regarding the MOS of 'Supply and Accounting' -
Are there and specific jobs that are not super math heavy? I can work with numbers and I can work with letters, but when you add them together, well let's just say I'm out of my comfort zone.
I've never been a super math wiz, I can work with numbers like I said, but when it comes to calculus- trigonometry(sp?), and Some advanced alegbraic forumlae I'm lost. So to sum it up, are any of the above going to be a everyday encounter working in this field?
My ASVAB line scores:
GT: 114
CL: 112
Everything else was over a hundred, lowest score was 102 if I recall.

If that is your MOS, they will train you in MOS school, and if you apply yourself, you will learn to do what is required of you.
BTW, this thread should be in Ask A Marine forum IMHO.

Everything is done with computers and bar scanners (inventory control) these days. You shouldn't have anything to worry about. Just apply yourself at MOS school and work hard every day.

Applying myself and working hard while doing it, I can do that.
