    Changes to contract before shipping out.

    My question is, does my contract change down at MEPS or does it change at my Recruiting station if I've gotten 2 referrals for my contract to change to PFC going into boot camp.

    I've searched this question but haven't gotten any answers.

    Talk to your recruiter. He/She needs to start changes to your contract.

    I have, and what was told to me was that it'll get changed down at MEPS. I'm just trying to make sure. I wouldn't like that earned rank/promotion to be taken away.

    Don't do the final swear in or signing the dotted line until it is updated. A contract is a contract and all the i's must be dotted and t's crossed or you are screwed.

    I can only hope some other Marine with some more recent experience can answer your question because my info is very VERY dusty!
