Dress Blues inspection?

I have been told by my Sergeant, that a dress blue inspection is not allowed. I prefer to have everything in writing and was wondering if there is an order or directive stating this?

I find it very hard to believe that you are serious. If you have every order written down, hope you are good at short hand. Unbelieveable. What ever happened to the real Marine Corps?

If it's issued, it can be inspected.

Your Sgt is wrong. Embassie duty, Recruter's, Sea Duty and HqMC those who are issued dress blues. All are inspected in dress blues.
