I spent 2 nights in ICU and they kicked me out. Had someone that needed my bed. Normal stay is 3-4.

Feeling damm good and walked to my regular room. Should unass this AO Monday. 5 days. Normal stay is 7.

Female nurse pulled my catheder. Also gave me a suppository. Jeez!

Another is gonna give me a shower tomorrow. I told her I would suffer through the ordeal.

I asked Sharon to get me a bell to ring when I needed something. That didn't go over real well.

My phone is still on silent. I'm kinda hoarse from the firehose they stuck down me throat.

Oh yeah, it was a quad and everything is new.

Let's see, been 3 weeks this Thursday. Both Dr's gave me a clean bill to recover. Still no driving, riding only. A nap in the afternoon feels good. Unable to lift over 5 lbs for 8 weeks so that makes taking a leak difficult, since I have to sit down, rather than holding the big SOB up while peeing. Was told to eat healthy and drink in moderation. I feel good, have lost 12 lbs and that is good. Sharon is treating me real good and stays on my ass about not overdoing. Just got back from a 1/4 mile walk and felt pretty good. Semper Fidelis, my Brothers and Sisters!!

Yea I know the feeling of have to sit and pee and able to hold that big S.O.B. Hahahhahaha.
It's great your up and around ,just take your time your not a spring chicken any more remember that fact and you'll do well with your recovery.

    Semper Fi Brother
And just think you'll back to your old self in no time....

Thanks for practicing your "stand-up" comedy on us. Glad to hear that you're doing well after surgery. Just take it easy and you'll be fine.
