Agreed. Watching that commercial would lead me to believe the same old line that Marines are all grunts, and storm into combat every day of their enlistment. The last I heard was that we were not trying to present that stereotype anymore.

It's OK. My favorite would be the chessboard commercial that was aired in the 90's.... I think.

I prefer the Comercial that featured the Marine Corps Silent Drill Team standing guard on the coast's and on the bridges guarding america... that one was deffinatley kick ass!

sorry all not to get off beaten path here but i have to ask ,my father in law ,is passing served usmc cherry point vmt.1 2dmaw.fmf.mcas1946 to 48. no combat duty.honorable dis. can he recieve burial benefits, seems there a question about combat Marines only being able to recived this benefit, any help would be alot of help . its the 11th hour for this Marine, and only one daughter ,he is not service connected , thank you all
