    Name Change and Enlistment

I recently had my name changed and I sent my court order off. The state made it to where I cannot print my old birth certificate. Am I still able to enlist in the USMC or do I have to wait until my new certificate comes back. I have court documentation of where I changed it. Thank you.

I'd bug out to the nearest recruiter with the papers I have and start the initial process......

They will let you know what paperwork you need to bring back.

Travel fast and in stealth mode so you don't get squished.

I will contact my local recruiter. I could do Force Recon since I can be stealthy as long as someone doesn't turn on the lights too quick!

Keep the court documentation of your name change. You will need it to enlist.

Focus on boot camp which should be your first concern,Semper Fidelis.

I changed my name on my enlistment papers. There is a line in the contract that asks what you want your legal name to be.
