CPL-MAC I did not hear some of the things that you have mentioned in your post. So she did not like force used HMMMM amazing. Guess that is why her weapon failed she did not want to use force.

Well froom what i heard her say she doesn't consider herself a hero and from what i read niether to alot of people with experience. I did not get the chance to serve in Iraq, but i was in Lebanon when the Barracks blew up. My hat is off to all who have fought and come back, and my heart goes out to those who havve lost family or friends.

Larry Flynt Acquires Rosie O’Donnell Photos; Refuses to Publish
Flynt: “I Have too Much Respect For My Readers”

Beverly Hills, CA – Only a day after controversial porn publisher Larry Flynt made the announcement that he purchased nude photos of war hero Jessica Lynch so as to prevent their publication, he said he has also acquired photos of talk show host Rosie O’Donnell.

“Publishing nude pictures of Jessica Lynch would be tasteless,” Flynt told the Hollywood Foreign Press today. “But publishing Rosie O’Donnell pictures would be a crime against humanity.”

Flynt apparently became interested in the O’Donnell photos after learning that North Korean dictator Kim Jung Il had initiated private negotiations for their acquisition.

Although it is unknown what North Korea intended to do with the photos, it is suspected that it may have used them to create a standoff on the Korean peninsula.

“The threat of widespread release of those photos is akin to the threat of a chemical or biological attack,” noted Pentagon spokesman Dan Senor.

According to Robert Lawrence, Flynt’s attorney, the provocative Rosie pictures were originally shot for the cover of her magazine, but Hearst executives threatened to sue Rosie if she “put a naked whale” on the cover of the magazine.

Meanwhile, the recent string of Flynt announcements has injected some excitement into the amateur picture market.

Palestinian Prime Minister Yasir Arafat announced he had nude pictures of himself, and threatened to release them unless the Israelis agreed to a ceasefire.

My Dad made thed landing on Peleilu in the south pacific during WWII and after hearing and reading some of the horror stories, when it came my turn, I enlisted. I made a pact with myself and to the Corps that I would never be taken prisoner. I would go down fighting. Fortunately, I never had to prove that but I for one am extremely proud of all the Marines that did and are still doing it! Lynch is a joke who will become rich from the movies and is certainly not a hero! Keep the news media and the politicians out of militaty affairs and maybe a lot of lives would be saved.

Once upon a time...
There was a young lass from the fair State of West Virginia, who when called to serve went to Iraq.
There an Officer made a serious error and took a wrong turn.
Realizing his mistake, he decided to backtrack, resulting in ambush of his unit.
The fair lass was a member of that unit.
After a wreck, the fair lass was taken prisoner.
She was taken to Iraqi hospital.
Where an Iraqi lawyer saw her being mistreated and reported it to the Marine Corps unit operating near his home.
A rescue operation was planned and carried out.
The media got hold of it, or it was leaked to the media.
Since than it has taken a life of it's own.
The fair lass since than has been discharged from the service and is home rehabing her injuries...
The injuries must be more on the fair lass mind than a few awards.
She must also know that she's being use for the purpose of others.
There's been a movie already made of her rescue.
A book has been written exposing more of this fairy tale.
Sexual assualt is mentioned but the Iraqi doctors that treated the fair lass say that they saw no signs of sexual assualt.
Now there mention of nude photos...
How will this fairy tale end?
The fair lass is dued to get married next year...
Will she live HAPPY after this fairy tale?

Hey trimmerj, I was there in RCT 1 and I will NEVER stop speaking out on Lynch and the farce. I was there in Nasiriya too and am choking on this crap. Semper Fi.

Well they made Piestewa a hero here in AZ and she died in the accident as best I can tell and she also fired no weapon. Any troops death is sad but itis sadder when they are made to be something they are not. They died in combat yes and just because they are women does not mean all the rules for them should be different. If rating a Bronze star they way it was received I should hae at least 4 of them
