Go to the American Battle Monuments Commission
Under WW1 enter his name, if he was killed in acton
and is buried overseas his name will be there.
This is were I found my great uncle who was KIA
in WW1 in France and is buried their. This site is
only for military who were KIA and are buried
overseas.

Bruce, I did search for my relative on the webpage, but did not find him. Also, I notice that my two threads have been moved into one thread. The threads are about different people. The first one is about Emil Thorsen who served on USS Brooklyn, but the last one is about his brother Ole Thorsen, who served in France. And now I am trying to locate Ole.
I have no knowledge of the American military/marines, so I am hoping that someone can tell me more about where he served, what he did, and what happened to him from the information I have been writing. That would made my day!

The 2 threads were merged because the first one from a year ago was buried in the forum and not current.
Since you are looking for 2 Brothers with the same last name it makes sense to combined them so more will see and you might have better results because they are both now current.
