Provided I don't have to battle the drunks via 911, every year I'm off, I made it a tradition to stay home with my kids or where ever we decide to stick our feet in front of the camp fire. I'm lucky. No drunks this year. Just giggles from goofy boys. Hope I can stay up til midnight. I'm taking a cold I think.

I usually build a fire and shoot fireworks with my daughter, but, she's moved to New Orleans. She wants me to go with them to the French Quarter to watch the fireworks on the river and the Fleur-de-lis drop. I normally don't drink but a Hurricane from Pat O'Brains would be nice.
Hope everyone had a good Christmas and have a great New Year. I know many of our Brothers and Sisters have had a rough year. You all are still in my thoughts and prayers.
May God bless and wishing peace and love to all.
