Alligator Marines
My father, William (Bill) Potter was one of the original Alligator Marines in Dunedin, Florida in the 1940s. I am helping a friend do research for a book on those young men. Please contact me if you have any information on the daily lives, the sweethearts, and the personal history of these Marines. We are also interested in any information on "Screwball" their mascot.

You need a better profile than what you gave. I also believe this belongs in Ask A Marine. You can also try Google. I just did and found a website directly related to it.
Here is a link. http://www.alligatormarines.com/index.html
