missing information on SF 86

Hello all, I appreciate your experienced insight beforehand.

I have a soon upcoming shipping date for boot camp (Nov. 28, 2011); however, I am being told that I might not be able to ship out due to missing information on my SF 86.

A supervisor under one of my last employer's was not "saved by the system". The issue did not come up during my 30 day, but it did come up during my 7 day. The information has already been changed by the recruiter, but he tells me that changing information on an SF 86 usually takes a couple of weeks to take effect. Thus, impeding me from leaving tomorrow.

Does anyone have experience with a similar issue? That is, does anyone know whether or not I will be able to ship out tomorrow?

I am in desperate need for an answer. So far, I am still scheduled to go to MEPS and "hope for the best". I need to know a tad more of an in depth answer since I would like to drop of things in storage, put insurance on hold, and follow through with the action plan devised for my departure date.
