Silent drill team and drum and bugle corps??

Hello fellow Marines, I am trying to locate a schedule for the Silent Drill Team and Drum and Bugle Corps. Do any of you know where a recent schedule can be found? I want to take my son to show him a little more about the corps. I remember when I was his age and a recruiter took me to see them both perform at the Rose Bowl. I was amazed. Oh Rah!

The Silent Drill Platoon's season is over for the year. They won't pick back up until late Spring. Go to http://www.marines.mil/unit/barracks/Pages/welcome.aspx

Sorry I can't help. We have a video of them in our "Members Favorite Videos".

Here it is. My daughter was stunned the first time she watched it. They are awesome!

I took my family this past summer. It was great. We spent the day walking the Mall, Iwo Jima Memorial, Arlington NAtional Cemetary and some other sights then finished at "8th & I". We plan to go back. It was all you'd expect. One day isn't enough. A week and you wouldn't get to it all.

I reserved the tickets in April and we sat in the second row of fold up chairs on the field close to the middle. You may have a better veiw from the bleachers though. There seemed to be empty seats at the start but once the lights went down it was hard to tell. If you don't get reserved seats you can just show up early and wait in line. Any unclaimed seats are awarded on a first come first served basis. It's all explained on the website.

The precision is amazing. Like nothing you'll see anywhere else.Enjoy.
