4421 Legal Services Specialist (Reserves)
Hello Marines,
Would anyone know what type of unit a Legal Services Marine would be attached to?
I'm currently seeking an enlistment in the reserves and trying to find out where LSMs operate so I can have an idea of which reserve units might have an open billet.
I live in New York City and do not mind driving a reasonable distance to drill if it means I can have the MOS I want. Of course this all depends on the needs of the Corps.
(I have seen a recruiter and he mostly offers me jobs for the unit here in Brooklyn, which I am not interested in.)

Most commands throughout the United States have 4421s. Everywhere there is a legal unit, there will be 4421s. Reserve units also have law centers and need 4421s. 4421s are attached to embassys overseas as well.
Go to this website and enter your state. Then pick your city of choice and it will give you the reserve unit and contact info. Call them up and ask if they have a legal section and 4421s attached.
