    Did You Know...

    Hares vs. rabbits: The hare and the rabbit are not the same creature. Hares are larger and have longer legs and ears and, unlike rabbits, when hares are born, they have a lot of fur and their eyes are open.

    Tomato trivia: In 1522, Spanish explorers brought tomatoes home from their trip to the New World. But rich folks thought the tomatoes were poisonous, so only the poor peasants ate them.

    Good nose: A polar bear has a very good nose. It can smell a seal - the polar bear's favorite meal - from more than 37 miles away.
