    Thank you Capt. Kirk. The reason most of us became CrewChiefs on 46's was to save, and support the Grunts. Most of us did the best we could. Hang in there for sure Doc. Semper Fi, and READY-APP. ACE.

    I just recently join this forum, surprising enough I thought I was the only one with this type of experience. I can remember wanting to be a Marine ever since the 8th grade the funny thing was that I never met anyone around my hometown in Puerto Rico that was a Marine. I became obsessed with joining the USMC and was able to do so in 1983 one of my most re ocurring dreams was receiving a bayonet through my stomach by a Japanese soldier I remember feeling it go in and even when everything went black. I never made nothing of it until I got stationed in Okinawa in 86 where I felt I had been there before and recognized a lot of places in the island. It felt weird but had no one to mention this to. So I guess it is possible to re live past moments. during the Gulf war, Somalia and during my tour in Iraq I was not really afraid, actually It felt like a thrill to go out off the wire and seek danger. I have no idea if this had anything to do with my dream, but it was and still scary sometimes dealing with the way I felt about on every mission. I brought this to my VA therapist and it has help me deal with the low on action that is why I am putting my 2 cents hoping it helps, bring in it out helps me a lot.

    Fellow MARINES;
    I know many of us Vietnam Vets are " haunted " by the occurances experienced during our tour ( s ) thereby causing many " problems " for us.
    There exist only one problem for me: My memory! We talk with one another about having C.R.S. & C.R.A.F.T. Well, the last one is my only problem. Unless anyone else has loss of memory, no one knows how agonizing it is not to remember your Buddies names, where you were or what you did. My e-mail says Vietvet1968 because that's when I thought I left Nam. Obtaining my Service Record it states otherwise. Can't even recall the Ops or places my record list.
    THIS HAUNTS ME 24-7

    Hi. Another Agent orange guy who can't remember much of anything recent. I remember DaNang, LZ baldy, LZRoss, AnHoa, like yesterday, but I can't remember yesterday. God help us all, diabetes, heart disease, arteries, colitis, extreme anxiety, hypertension, f__k, I don't even know who I am. 62 years old, ready for the grave. All I can do is hope God will save me when I go, and forgive me for all those I killed, or whatever....

    My short term memory is a joke. However I remember my time in the Corps fairly well. Most ain't worth remembering. I don't think I have any physical ailments associated with Nam. Everything wrong with me, can be linked to getting older. I feel blessed I have lived this long.

    I'm going back to the Doc on Wed, I've got another AO growth on my eyebrow, they've cut 5 out so far so I guess what's another. The Nam, guess I'll go back there tonight and relive all that ****, like every other night. Just saying.

    I know where you're at man. I'm so sorry. I wish I could come up with something that would make all of this go away for all of us. Take care, Advanced. Semper Fi
