    Planing on meet a Marine recruiter soon. Any advise on what I should or shouldn't do

    I'm 16 years 6'2 280lbs (overweight)... used to weight 310lbs. In all honesty, the reason I want to join a military branch is to buy time(On top of that Marines in particular are ruthless people that no one really wants to mess with). I'm not saying I'm finding a way out or its my last alternative to join the Marine or any other military branch. Literary I have no clue in hell on what I'm going to do with my life. Plus I want the government to help me pay for collage just because I see how my parents struggle to pay for my brothers private collage. So, any tips or advise would really help me out. Thanks.
