    Trying to help a friend.

I have a friend, who is female, who is trying her best to get into the Corps, sutdying for the ASVAB every night, never misses PT, has no problem passing an IST, but you get the picture. She happens to be about 5-6 pounds over her weight requirement for her height. (keep in mind she has already lost about 70 but has hit a plateau)

Now to my question, there are several males who were allowed to DEP in, and are wayyyy over their weight requirement, and never show to PT and can't even do one pullup.

Why is this allowed? And if she went to MEPS would they allow her to DEP in?

Your recruiter will have to answer this one.

    TTop is right.

To me....your 'question' is merely hear say or all the facts are not noted here and it's irrelevant anyway.

Your 'friend' just needs to do what expected of her to earn The Title.
Less calories and more cardio is my suggestion.

That's my take on it.....good luck to her.
