Absolutely. Nothing else has come down the pike. Maybe it is more in accordance with our present abilities after all.

Ed, do they make snowchains for wheel chairs? If they do, I'm in.

Heck ,, We're Marines,, IF something isn't available in the civilian market,,,it isnt beyond us to make or modify gear to do the job in a proficient manner.

I modified some V-weed cross bars i had , and inserted some carbide studs into a pair of "Custom" made, WIDE glide, super ride,ho che mhin wheelchair tires and wheels..
Dago thru snow , dago thru mud, dago thru dirt,, day won't go flat, so day won't go whopp whopp whopp...
These things have more stick to them than a French Tickler with ruffles and ribs and ridges........

If that didnt make you moist ,, i dont know what will.

This is/was a classic thread, everyone agrees. It is one of the few threads where quite a few folks were involved who normally hardly posted anything at all elsewhere.

Maybe a mission will come our way after all---sometime.

    *** INDEED

    ***small foot note............

None of you think that OBAMA is referring to us when this investigation,
for Benghazi hits the fan , do you ???????

**** Thinking of OTHER CLASSIC THREADS..........

    the "" ILLUMINATTI TATTOO ""
Un-Known yet , which NEWBIE SquadLeader "Accidently Deleted it".... ????

  7. #562
Ed, Lep was the one who decided to make that Illuminati Tattoo thread a sticky....that was indeed a real classic.

  8. #563
Sure am curious to know what the hell an illuminati tattoo looks like anyway! Is it the pyramid with the huge eye at the top like on the back of a dollar bill? If so, believe I'll pass on getting one...uggggly!!

  9. #564
Yes, that's the one, Top---the thread went on for a long time and was really good. I didn't know it had been deleted. All good things come to an end, though, especially nowadays in our super-ultra-new-fantastic PC world. LOL. We just can't resist being PC. Interesting, isn't it?

You'd think we would shun BS like that, but we wholeheartedly embrace it.

I'd been told shortly after the last batch of "Volunteer Squadleaders had been appointed" the THREAD had Mysteriously DIS -APPEARED

Would be nice if the SEARCH FUNCTION worked I betcha...

Don't hear much from ole Sgt Lep anymore...too bad.

  12. #567
The reason is that (very recently) he's on a completely different work schedule now. No more late or midnight shifts where it's comparatively slow at work.

  13. #568
Hell, I'll go. I'm not that out of shape. Wasn't that long ago I was in Iraq. What MOS do you need? S-2. S-3,? Need a comm guy? I was qualified to drive all the recent vehicles, and was a qualified combat live safer just a few years ago before I was forced to retire. Cook? Didn't you guys hear? Field mess now gets everything in sealed packets and all you do is heat it up and serve it to the troops. No more "cooking". Oh wait, they already made that movies ... Expendables? We would just be a Hollywood rewind. LOL

Survey Says FOX News is too Liberal

Allowing God’s values into a story is what makes FOX News fair and balanced, not by giving Bob Beckel a microphone.

    http://www.palookavillepost.com/2013...s-too-liberal/

hope that makes it thru the filter ...IT is a good read...

Ed, are you sure you're on the right thread? LOL.
