Best book to learn about Marine Corps History

Hello Marines. Well as you can see by my alias I don't ship for a while but I wanted to read up and study the Marines history in preparation to bootcamp. Not only that but it's all really moto for me. Any specifics you would recommend?

There are, of course, a crap-ton of 'em. Best bet, believe it or not, is go to your local library and run a search for "Marine Corps". All sorts of books will pop up. It's sort of hit or miss, depending on what exactly, you are looking to read. Any specific period you want to know about?

Appretiate the feedback. I'll definitely take a look at that list. Sgt Lep I'm looking for a general book of all history and all battles. Nothing in specific. I actually got an amazon gift card for $30 and I thought i'd spend it on something knowledgable like this. Thanks
