When I die bury me deep.
With two crossed rifles laid beneath my feet
And by my side a .45 I wear,
And dont forget to pack my PT gear
Because early one mornin' around zero-five,
The grounds gonna shake there'll be thunder in the sky
Don't you get alarmed Don't you come undone.
It's just me and Chesty Puller on a PT run.
Back in 1775
My Marine Corps came alive.
First there came the color blue,
to show the world that we are true.
Next there came the color red,
to show the world the blood we shed.
Finally there came the color green
to show the world that we are mean.
When my Grannie was 91
she did PT just for fun
When my Grannie was 92
she did PT better than you
When my Grannie was 93
she did PT better than me
When my Grannie was 94
she did PT more and more
When my Grannie was 95
she did PT to stay alive
When my Grannie was 96
she did PT just for kicks
When my Grannie was 97
she up..and died...and went to heaven
When my Grannie was 98
she did PT at the pearly gates
When my Grannie was 99
she was doin' the double time!
Born in the woods.
Raised by a bear.
I gotta double set of jaw teeth.
and a triple coat of hair.
Two brass balls.
and a cast-iron rod.
I'm a mean devil dog,
a Marine by God.
good stuff...

My girl's a vegetable
She lives in the hospital
But i would do anything
to keep that girl alive Yeah
She got no arms or legs
She gets by on hooks and pegs
But i would do anything
To keep that girl alive Yeah
My girl don't drink or eat
She falls through the toilet seat
But i would do anything
To keep that girl alive Yeah
One day I'll play a joke
Pull the cord and watch her choke
But i would do anything
To keep that girl alive Yeah

Through the field he was walkin'
Through my scope I was watchin'
A shot to the head he drops and he's dead
walkin in a sniper wonderland
in the village there's a lady
in her arms there's a baby
I chamber a round the kid hits the ground
walkin in a sniper wonderland
in the village we can set a claymore
set it up to blow at half past twelve
we'll suprise the ****in commie bastards
and smile while we blow 'em all to hell
later on we'll rape and pillage
while we burn their ****in village
there's no where to run when we're havin fun
walkin in a sniper wonderland

Pebbles and BamBam on a Friday night
Tryin' to get to heaven on a paper kite
Lightnin' struck and down they fell
Instead of goin' to heaven they went straight to hell.
Dino the Dog was on the bone
While Fred and Barney rocked the microphone
Well, I heard a scream and heard a shout
Mr. Slade was bustin' Wilma out
There wasn't too much that old Fred could do
Except Yabba-dabba-dabba-dabba-dabba-do

come along and join the party
come along and join the fun
throw candy to the children
wait until they gather round
lock and load your M-16
and mow them suckers down
go to the school house door
and wait till you hear the bell
pull the pin on the grenade
and blow those bastards straight to hell

Burn the town and kill the people
Throw some napalm in the square
Do it on a Sunday morning
While the people are at prayer
Throw some candy in the school yard
Watch the kiddies gather 'round
Slap a mag in your M-16
And mow those little f#*$&#s down

some say freeeeeeedom is free
but I tend to disagree
I say freedom is won
through the barrel of a gun
load another magazine
in my trusty m-16
cause all I ever wanta see
is bleeding, bleeding, bodies
load another chemical round
gas them bodies to the ground
cause all I ever wanta see
is twisting, jerking bodies
load another nuclear round
burn them bodies to the ground
cause all I ever wanta see
is burning, burning bodies
agent orange and vx2
gas them bodies tell thay turn blue
cause all I ever wanta see
is twisting, jerking bodies

I happen to like this one:
I wish, I wish, I wish all the ladies
Were bells on a tower
And I was the bellboy
I'd bang 'em by the hour
I wish, I wish, I wish all the ladies
Were pies on a shelf
And I was the baker
I'd eat 'em all myself
I wish, I wish, I wish all the ladies
Were holes on a road
And I was the dumptruck
I'd fill 'em with my load
I wish, I wish, I wish all the ladies
Were bricks in a pile
And I was the mason
I'd lay 'em all like tile
Then there is this one too:
Navy, Navy, I'm in doubt
As to why you're bellies are stick'n out
Is it whiskey or is it wine
Or is it lack of PT time!

lived my whole life in danger

10-19-03, 01:30 PM #35I wish, I wish, I wish all the ladies...
I wish all the ladies
Were statues of Venus.
And I was the sculptor
With a cast iron p3nis.
One of my favorites:
Gimme that old Marine Corps Spirit (repeat twice)
It's good enough for me.
It was good for Chesty Puller (repeat twice)
So it's good enough for me.
It was good on Iwo Jima (repeat twice)
So it's good enough for me.
It was good at the Frozen Chosin (repeat twice)
So it's good enough for me.
For you poolees:
Improvise more lines with famous Marines, famous battles of the Corps, your Leatherneck.com staff & any of Vets on this site that served in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Beirut, Gulf I & Iraqi Freedom. (Might as well remember them all.)

Children in the school yard tryin to learn
drop a little napalm and watch them burn
-----------------------------------------------
Chesty Puller was a helluva man
Tiger of the jungle and he never ran
Lined a hundred women up against the wall
swore up and down he could screw em all
screwed ninety- eight til his balls turned blue
backed off jacked off then screwed the other two

and it's good enough for me.
You young Marines might not have heard
that is why we spread the word
I know a man built like a bear
fighting man extradonaire
Chesty Puller was his name
a tougher Marine there never came
Back in Korea in '52
When everyone thought that he was thru
10 Divisions against his one
Anyone else woulda turned and run
10,000 men dead-on with strife
gave 37 years Horse Marine for life.
Thunder, lighting, drizzle, and rain nothing but PT on my brain-3x
left foot-2x

Came up with this in my German class today:
Stalking through the desert in the dark of night
Just me and my rifle looking for a fight
Spotter points forward and we hit the ground
In my bolt action I place one round
I close my eyes and take a deep breath
Exhale slowly and await another death
Sqeezing the trigger, never pulling back
The only sound you hear is one loud crack
Target hits the ground and struggles for his life
As I carve another notch in the stock with my knife

Us Marines are gonna take a little trip.
In the middle of the night in the drizzlin rain,
I pack my chute and I run to the plane.
Mission top secret, destination unknown,
We dont even know if were coming home.
I stand up, hook up, shuffle to the door,
then I jump right out and shout,
"Marine Corps!"

I think I've heard/called all the C-130 cadences I ever hope to in my life already in the past 3 years lol. They're almost all the same. As soon as someone starts off with, "C-130 rollin.." people just go "Ugh!" lol.

Poolees:
At Ease! In my seven years active and 13 in the Reserves - as an enlisted radio humper, as an officer-aviator, as a an officer ground FAC and BN XO I have yet to run into any Marine that would be psycho enough to put notches in his rifle stock for "kills."
If and when you earn the title, if and when you've actually been in combat, you'll understand.
Until then, lay off the John Wayne movies. Maybe you should watch "Sergeant York" and "To Hell in Back." Although they celebrate the heroics of Army soldiers, they will show you that real heros, and real men who've killed other real men were just ordinary guys who were thrust into a do or die situation - for them and their buddies. They took the only action posssible to save them and their fellow soldiers.
In my career, it has been my honor to know and converse with three Marine Medal of Honor winners. I worked as an enlisted MP for MOH winner GySgt Jimmie Howard in 1968 when he was Provost at MCRD San Diego when I was waiting to ship to my OCS class. I met and talked to the late Colonel Mitchell Paige and General Raymond Davis. These three were some of the dozens of Marine heros of the 20th century - yet they were humble men, both before and after their unselfish acts of heroism. These were true heros - and none of them ever took pride in killing by cutting a notch in the stock of their weapons - they just did what hey had to do.
On of my enlisted boot camp DIs was Sgt. Joe Hess - MCRD San Diego - 1968. He was a Marine sniper in 'Nam. I can guarantee you that he did not cut any notches in the stock of his weapon for his score of kills.

Sir,
I didn't mean the cadence to be a literal statement. I understand what you are saying and I'm sorry that it was taken as such.
