    Breathing tips for running?

I have been running to improve my endurance. I am pretty new to it, and I never have had good breathing technique. I just got done running.. Any tips are appreciated.

In through your nose, blow out through your mouth...both as slow as you can

Thanks Marines. I used to be a fat body, but I am about there and can now start running. I will be running often.

Running shorter distances, but faster help with your endurance more. The more you get that heart popping feeling, the better your endurance will become. As far as I know the longer distances don't really do anything for endurance.

For someone new to running. I have heard it is more benificial to breath through your mouth. You get more air into your lungs that way.

I have been practicing some fast paced sprints and incorporation of longer jogs. I very much appreciate all the advice Marines. Keep it coming.
