Fake Marines

So we all have seen they guy busted at his HS reunion and the guy who actually JOINED the Army Reserves as an OFFICER because he simply stated that he used to be a Marine, but I would like to hear any stories of other Marines catching idiots claiming to be a Marine or to have been in at all. Any story long or short would be ok for me.

I was getting new tires put on my pickup. While I was waiting, ther was a group of men talking, also waiting. I heard Marine Corps mentioned, so I went over. There was this man that was telling V.N. war stories. He told the guys he was a Sgt. in the Corps. The kicker was, he was a fighter pilot. He was telling them that when he was flying missions. He had to fly low to get under the radar. Told them he flew so low from the carrier to the main land. He used to put his canopy up and put his hand down and touch the ocean. I just walked off laughing.

Well he said he was a Sgt as fighter pilot so like Mongoose said, that's what made the lie. I was in a bar a few months ago and I saw this fat f***er at the other end talking about jarheads, so of course I went over to chat it up. He was refering to himself and other Marines as jarheads which I know we don't call each other that*red flag goes up*. He goes on to tell me about 4th Bn at the Island and how they let him call home all the time for being an outstanding cadet lol. Didn't know what Semper Fi meant or who Chesty Puller was. That was all I needed to hear for me to go DI on his ass(without getting thrown out of the bar, thank you). I downed HIS jager bomb he had just ordered and walked off. Oh, and the girl he was trying to impress laughed and left while smiling at me on her way out. Oooorahh kill!

Hello on the subject of fake marines, My daughter who is 15 is being harassed on line by two men who claim to be marines, one says he is a Ranger, they have abused her something awful, threatened to kill her, burn our house down, they have photoshopped her head on to porn pictures and posted filthy videos on youtube, both have them have shown what they claim to be DD214's showing they were indeed in service, is there any rules about conduct that brings the force in to disrepute? They both also harass lower status marines and threaten and harass them...Reported to youtube and networking sites..but because they are in USA and we are in Europe its almost impossible to get anywhere, Help. please my daugher has twice attempted suicide and is now suffering severe depression, I know both their names, anyone I can go to re this?

It appears they have crossed the line from posers to straight up criminals. Do you have any links to the online info they have? You can also go to socnet . com and ask to have the "Ranger" verified. The Ranger community is small, smaller than the Corps so they are often times easier to bust. People on socnet recently were involved in taking down the FB poser featured in the MC times,, Skyler Walker.

I would send any info you have to the local authorities.

Do you know which state or city these two pervets are located?

The FBI has field offices in every state. If you know where they are and you can prove what you say, do a search for the phone number of the FBI. Let them take it from there

Hi, the problem I am having is this, I am in the UK, the forums/sites it happens on are USA and because they have disclaimers apart form removing the material they wont do anything, immediately the videos reappear under cloned accounts. I have contacted the law but they refer me to the site and the site doesnt act..so I am stuffed. One of the men I only know as mathew and his user name, the other however I have a name and address for, all this is done while they spout off about what great Marines they are and whilst showing off some kind of document DD214, they also harass other marines and accuse them of being " blue Falcons"..whatever that is, they then abuse the people and name their families, put up their addresses and call on other servicemen to join in on attacking them. if anyone stands up to them they accuse them of paedophilia and threaten their families and to tell their neighbours they are paedophiles!
They are currently abusing me and calling me a paedophile because I asked them to leave ,my daughter alone..Also they are contacting my childrens schools, threatening to kill us, have put my daughter on swingers sites and have put her name on craigslist advertising for auto asphyxiation, she is 15
