CQB training complete

My son called last night to tell us he passed his final tac eval for CQB training. He was so relieved and happy. Very intense training and so much to remember according to him. He'll be heading back to Bangor this week and then gets two weeks liberty starting on December 4th (his birthday). Can't wait to see him as he hasn't been home since January.

That school is fun went to it in 03 but yeah lots to remember. I was in fast co though and got to use it a few times great training.

My son is finishing SOI soon ( grads. 2/04/11) and will be going to SF School. Does anyone know if its backed up? Also, my son's main interest is FAST. He has 1st class scores on his PFT and CFT as well as an expert pin from his Quals at PI. Is there anything he can do to get into FAST after he graduates from SF School? I know the needs of the Corps dictate openings but do they ask you what your preference is and do they require high composite scores for FAST?
