Yeah you will have your interview done, but it takes a while for the process to be done. The investigator pretty much talks to everyone you know and if you have foreign relatives, it may take longer....

Hmm I dont think I have heard of anyone getting their background investigation done before signing the contract. If you have a clear background, you could have your investigation done within a year....
