I observed the funeral on TV. It was a fitting tribute to a fallen Marine. Even the Record newpaper which is considered very liberal wrote a very moving editorial.

I can only speak for the departments up north in reference to college. I'm sure that there are departments up here that do not require a college education, but they are few and far between.

Your recruiter is the best person to talk to. One mistake might be forgiven, but after that the Marines do not want any dead wood.

I agree with all of you. When something bad happens the papers AWAYS say former marine. You NEVER hear former army, navy, air force.
