I was wounded on my 19th birthday in Vietnam....very dark April night...west of LZ Baldy
sitting in a villes graveyard....laying between the outer ring and the mound itself...heard the bastards...

To tell you the truth....my dad signed on the bottom line, I was sworn in.... a few days later I was on my friggin way. Once he signed my ARSE belonged to Uncle Sam and that was that.

My dad had to sign for me at 17...one month before my 18th b-day. I did not want to wait 30 more days to have breakfast kicked in my face.
