i had a few WM's in my unit, one was an operator, and the other was a mech, and one, was the mech. platoon sgt. , and i'm pretty sure they all hated their jobs... just sayin'...

i dont know exactly when, but i know when my dad went to the wrecker operators course in the early 80's it was at camp johnson, i think perhaps in the late 80's or early 90's it moved there...

ill put it to you like this, for me being motor t, was the best choice i ever made, yeah sometimes you have to bust tires and clean up oil spills and police call and stuff, but there is no better...

yeah i never understood why they wore them in garrison... but after awhile you could tell who was a chief and who was an officer... the chief had the gut, or was laos...

he was prolly mad cus when i was loading up some 7 tons on the bottom of the boat and id put it in first gear with the jake brake on high going down the ramp to the bottom lol. i thought it sounded...

if it holds any merit, i went to boot came with a 33 year old, and i went to motor t school with a 35 year old, but they were contract reservists... i never saw a 35 year old get a 1st class PFT like...

i was loading up a flatbottom to send off equipment to the typhoon relief for phuket back after xmas 05 i think and i went up to a sailor to ask him where the head was, and i was like ''hey petty...

yeah, exactly, those are the only ones i think that get only gold stars to denote multiple awards, there might be other ones, maybe meritorious service ribbon gets only gold stars too i forget...

hey i just notices your location is uruma, how the weather in okinawa these days? i wish i stayed there, i'd still be in the Marines

from what i remember only NAM's and CAR's rate only gold stars... but i could be wrong
