You are absolutely right...Looks like I had it in reverse and spelled "Chute" wrong, and yours using "Sloop" and not "Slop"....Thanks for the correcton...

And where would this be in Chicago, as I am interested in the history of the Marine Corps...

Our D.I. picked us up at staging and marched us back to the barracks at 2nd Bn...
