What is a Marine?

Good luck passing the DLAB, I have heard that its done at boot camp but I took it at MEPS before I enlisted. Maybe only some MEPS have the ability to administer the test?

Yea I didnt do to well on the DLAB either after scoring a 92 on the ASVAB its just a diffrent kinda test but it was meant to be.

0621 School and all Data/Comm jobs have school at 29 Palms CA. There are VERY few female Marines in the 0600 field from what I have seen as far as student wise. Maybe 3-4 out of 20 or 30 are Marines...

You dont have to be in the DEP to go to poolee functions.

You can send anything that does not have exposed genitals. Bikini's were fine with our drill instructors but they will not allow you to have nude photographs.

You dont get to decide anything in Boot Camp they will randomly assign you a job under that option and 2 or 3 Marines I know wanted Infantry and ended up with Artillery and Ammo Tech or something...

Do some negatives and sets of 5 assisted. If you dont know what a negative is just have someone assist you over the bar then slowly lower yourself down a slow as possible.

Sounds like you have a good recruiter and some other good Marines helping you out. Stay motivated youll get better at PT before you know it.

Just to give you a heads up, yes you do have a chance to become a grunt with ground option but ive had 4 friends who signed up under it (infantry was full) and they are working with artillery now. So...
