A fellow poolee of mine broke her leg while she was running and it started with a stress fracture. She was at boot when it happened and has now been out for a year and will be going back to bootcamp...

I have never been an "athletic" person, but after hitting the weights and running 2-3 times a week. I have really improved!

My very first mock pft scores on 20080528 were:

Arm hang 13 secs...

Flexed Arm Hang: 45:00 seconds
Crunches: 110 in 2 min
1 1/2 mile run: 13:30

Try going to the library and reading up on the history, you might even find some good boot camp books. Youtube has some good "motivational" videos too. Also same advice as above poolees as well.
