Well, 52 years ago on this date, I graduated from MCRD San Diego, and officially became a Marine for life, and what an honor it is !! :flag:

Yep, all sounds familiar. When I was at Hansen, we were in a regular messhall, but did use those field burners/ovens etc., during our time at Mt. Fuji for 3-4 months.

As I recall back in 1962 (Platoon 350) we wore yellow "sweatshirts". Don't know when they changed over to "tee shirts".
