Morning Marines,
24 and snowing with the wind blowing hard
I couldn't sleep so I just got up went to bed a 2100 with Karen
OOH RAH!!!!!!! Montana is back with a big head but very welcome, Check out Cowboy Up and check him out.
I made coffee just in case the power goes out in this high wind and snow, I need to buy me a peculator coffee pot for when the power goes out I could use the grill
We have a couple of good new members who are welcome to join in.
Prayers outbound to our Marines in the Sand Box. I watch a program last night on Camp Leatherneck couldn't believe the new gear they use. Times sure have changed since Nam. All the new changes in gear makes me want to be back in.
Saturday is my 12 wedding anniversary with Karen and I'm looking forward to it.
We have been together for 13 years. It took me four times but I finally got it right. It only took her three times.

Morning all
School cllosed for the third straight day. 24 degrees outside with about 4 inches of snow on the ground, but the blacktops are not covered-most melted yesterday, but there is a lot of ice. They are calling for the possibility of more snow. The roads should clear when the sun comes up. High of 35 today and 45 tomorrow...

Sure hope the Florida job comes through...I'm getting tired of the cold. I plan on keeping my house here in Tennessee and will come back for a visit every hurrican season...lol

Good Morning to all, going to have sunshine today (I think) but cold. We are lucky we missed most of the storm that is now in the east. Our son drives a semi and is to be going through Washington D.C. and on to Penn. this morning. We are praying for him. He is a good driver so will make.

Suppose to clear up today, still cold but at least the sun's coming out.

Mornin All, -12 below outside my window. Very little wind so not much worse of a wind chill. Looks like Rocky will have a good case of cabin fever by the time the snow is done in the Northeast.

Bacon, eggs, cinnomon (sp) toast, and coffee for morning chow. Looking for fuel prices to sky-rocket from all the cold and snow. Any excuse to raise prices. I'll keep my driving to a minnimum to avoid having to buy gas. Watching the news it makes you wander what this nation would do if OPEC cut us off completely.

Got some girl on the news whining about how it's only 24 degrees in Chicago. WAAA WAAAA!!

The wind here is howling. Shaking the whole house, but the sun is shinning yet the water sitting in the drive has froze in the last hour from the wind.
The coffee is on, sitting here with my daughter listening to her talk about something...

It's snowing and 28 degrees here in Northeast Pa.Expecting a blizzard to form off the coast and winds to start blowing to 40 mph.Right now winds are calm and a good time to take the dog out.

Got up this morning and made breakfast for the little wife and me and now she's off to work. breakfast was Sausage , Eggs and toast with coffee.

Bill, Here's a suggestion for supper. Very simple and easy. Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Take a 3-4 pound beef roast, (any kind) spray a baking dish with nonstick spray, season the roast on all sides with your favorite seasoning. (I use Lowery's Season Salt) Place in baking dish (do not add any water). Place uncovered in oven and bake for 30 minutes, then without opening the oven door, turn the oven down to 350 degrees and bake for another hour. It forms a crust on the roast that holds in the juices. While it's cooking you can make potatoes (any style, but I prefer mashed) and cream peas as sides. My wife loves it when I make this. SF

:D....Good morning everyone!!....bright sunshine, and temps in the middle 40's. Must be GLOBAL WARMING!!!!.....DUH!!
Got my elec. bill yesterday, GUESS WHAT??.....50% increase!! Was paying around $90 to $120/month, now it's $265.00....HOLY CRAP!! More like a 100% increase!......SHMUCKS! Progress Energy, is just like Enron....buying and selling elec. to the highest bidder....don't remember getting ANY notice of a HUGE increase!
OH WELL!!....fixed myself some REAL chow this AM (using LOT'S of elec!!), 3 egg omeletttt, with grilled onions, grilled ground "red stuff", grated Jalo. cheese, and more cheese on top, with Pace picante slopped all over the place!!.....some went on the floor!! NOT hard to fix if you can stand on TWO feet!!....ONE foot and a cane, make it a pain in the ARSE!
I see that some Grunts are missing from "Muster", this AM, but they're ALL still in bed having their wives keep them WARM!!
