A rather cool and damp start to the day in the Bluegrass State, and that's a good thing. We've needed the moisture badly.
Coffee is on, and it's plentiful. Sausage gravy and eggs on toast this morning. Juice if you've a mind. Come and dine. . . .
To those afar off protecting and serving, I lift you up this morning. Please know how much your loved, and supported. May your return be safe and swift to those you love, and that love you, and an ever grateful nation.

Today at Parris Island, when the Company CO arrives at the steps to his Recruits' Company Barracks, an unsat Recruit on work detail to sweep the steps will snap to attention, broomstick at Order Arms. When the Company CO draws near, said Recruit will perform an orderly Rifle Salute to that broomstick and shout "Sir, Good Afternoon, Sir!", at which point the CO will lose his frigken mind that anyone could be so awefully disrespectful. Ahhhhh, the memories.

Morning All. A great day here. Going for some Sunday worship this weekend instead of Saturday night. My little girl is getting baptized today. Gives me a good reason to go this morning. Too bad her Mom took flight and won't see it.
We are taken Mom out for her birthday this afternoon, her 62. She would just love me telling that.
