Hope everyone is doing well as for me my wife is back on her chemo and this was her second treatment and she has only a couple more before shes done... Morning all. 63 going to 88 and sunny.
I guess things couldn't stay quiet for long around here. I seem to have developed olecranon bursitis in my left elbow (my diagnosis). It's also called "student's elbow" from leaning on it while reading (which I do). It looks like an egg-shaped swelling at the point of my elbow.
A trip to the VA hospital urgent care is in order as it may have to be drained and get a shot of cortisone. My clinic can't handle it as they have no x-ray facilities. At least it isn't painful like some can be.
Otherwise, things are quiet. Oh well.
Prayers out to those in greater need than me.

Good Morning Everyone,
I'm feeling kinda sore today. We planted our garden this weekend with peppers, tomatoes, squash and cucumbers, and later in the afternoon we did some yard work. It's funny how the memory of the soreness subsides once you start to harvest the vegetables. I can't wait for July to come.
Hope you get your elbow taken care of Chris. Good to read your posts Ed, keep'em coming. Prayers out to those who stand in need of them.

Good Morning Everyone,56 degrees,raining real good right now,going up to 66 degrees today.Marine1955,Hope Your Wife,recovers fully-real soon,She's a Trooper,actually a Marine's Wife.Zulu36,that Elbow thing is an Easy one.They take an X-ray first to R/O a Fracture,then they do the cortisone,lido caine thing.There is Epinephrine hydochloride in the lidocaine,novacaine.My body doesn't like the Epi-it's job is to prolong the lidocaine affect.Just a head's up if you feel something in your ticker.You may not,which would be good.I,myself,may require a stronger penicillin,than the one I was given.I do feel better,but still feel sick.It would be unwise for me to work out at the gym,as much as I want to.The DAV Meeting was Great.A play was put on by some actors from the Sopranos-called :The Jack Knife -about PTSD.The Acting was Superb,but then these are real card carrying Hollywood Professional Actors.It was really nice of them to come to Perform for Us.Big Pussy,from the Sopranos,is really a very dedicated and fine Actor.The Female and other two Male Actors I didn't get their names.There was Also A Black Man from the Army-that is up for the Congressional Medal Of Honor.I didn't get his name either,but I can see the Greatness and Humility in him.I didn't get a chance to shake his hand.I'm no hero,but I certainly Respect and Admire those that are.War is Hell,it certainly can ruin your day in life.EGTspec,come home please.I hate writing E-Mails.Did you see Mick Jagger on SNL-Wow is he Decimated.69 years old,looking 79 years old-I thought he said,he doesn't do drugs.I'm pretty sure he had a Pampers on.Yeah I know He's a Rock God,but he looks like a spider has sucked out his life force.No regrets he says.Oh Well,gotta make some telephone calls and then take my only camouflaged Vietnam Shirt,torn from the passing of time and years to be sewed by a Taylor; for next Saturday's bus ride.Prayers Out To All in Harms Way.Keep your Reflexes fast and Your Powder dry.Semper Fi and GOD Bless You All..Allan...out.

I have a VA clinic appointment this afternoon to look at this bursitis issue. They're sticking me in between other appointments, so it's just going to be a look-see. Since I'm not in pain there isn't a rush to shove needles in me. The thing seems to have gotten a bit smaller on its own. I hate needles.

Good Morning Everyone,65 degrees right now,rain,going up to 67 degrees today.It cost $20.00 dollars to put some extra green material in my old Vietnam Marine fatigue shirt.It will be nice to wear.This Thursday,I have to meet a first cousin from Hawaii,I never Met.Yep,his father is my uncle Max,the Shrink,that married 5 times.His last wife is the sister of Camile La Motta,the wife of Cuss D'La Motta,the trainer and adopted father of Mike Tyson,the Ex Heavy Weight World Champeon.So Mike Tyson is related to me by marriage-since none of you ever asked.Peek A Boo-that was the fight style taught by La Motta.I met Floyd Patterson,and Jose Torres(Late)but never met Mr.Tyson.So I'll meet my cousin,and We shall go to lunch,downtown NY.Gotta get some chow now,gotta feed my amoxicillin.Be Safe Everyone and Enjoy this Life....GOD Bless and SEMPER FI.

All is OK here. My VA visit went OK too. Since I'm not in pain and the bursitis isn't inflamed, the doc wants to treat it conservatively - Motrin and rest. If it acts up, then it will be needle time. Fine with me.
