Well Morning all !!! at least it's still morning here in Kansas..
We have cloudy skies and some wind and a temp of 52° outside.
The little wife is doing really well over haft way through her second part of chemo and she feels great but she still losing her hair,now her eye lashes are falling off along with her eyebrows. I still tease her about letting me paint her eyebrows but she want let me use my paint gun still hahahha..

Another hour or so it wouldn't be morning. Got busy working on resumes and the time got past me quickly. Spring is in the air and it's time to put forth the effort to get a teaching job once more. I am seriously thinking about applying for a history position at a military school in FL. I wonder what they think of my age?

Anyways it nice here also we have 60° with windy conditions and partly cloudy skies overhead with clouds building to the south west section of my porthole..

Hope everyone has a Great Easter
We had our little niece here and she woke up to Easter Bunny surprizes and it was fun. Been a long time since Easter Bunny came to my house.
Karen and I are just going to stay home as usual and have fun with all our critters especially the horses.
The new Palamino is working out great and has really good ground manners but needs allot more weight on him. They named him Pal.

Good luck on the job search. Any student would really benefit from having you as a teacher.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. The truth is that experience in teaching is a handicap. Most schools do not like to hire people with experience or advanced degrees since they have to start paying at a higher rate. It's public money and school districts try to get the most bang for the buck which means hiring as many first year teachers as possible for the fewest dollars. It makes getting a second career started a very difficult process. I will re-write my cover letters and resumes and start submitting. Maybe something will open up. :D

You have to know history to teach it.....and since you have first hand knowledge and experience since the Revolution....you should make a fine candidate for a teaching position.
