We're havin' some strange weather here! NO sun, but big dark clouds and the "threat" of monsoon's!! Screw the weather.....I'm more worried about gettin' PAID on the FIRST!!! GOD help us ALL!!
Prayers out to all of you suffering with different types of pain, and out to all of our Brothers, Sisters and "children", in the Sandpit.....BLESS them ALL.....:flag:

Morning/evening all,got sent home today,had heat stroke problems and was sweating real bad.soaked my shirt and pants with sweat and was sitting in a air conditioned room,the building was about 117 degrees in side.they sent another out in and amblance,day two was a trip!!Semper Fi,Jim.
Hope that you are feeling better, Sgt Jim. Heat stroke is a real motha....especially and very easily when not recognized until it is too late. Be good to yourself.

Yep Sgt Jim. I know you are happy to have a new job, and making a good impression right off the bat is a good thing. But not at the sacrifice of your health. Pace yourself till you get aclimated to the heat. Keep plenty of fluids handy, and fo Gods sake, take a break if you feel the heat getting to you. You have nothing to prove by getting yourself injured. We don't want to lose you on here. And you don't want to lose your new job by overdoing it. SF

Morning All, 91 going up again to 100 or more humid to. Most of the ranchers around here are starting to sell off the beef because of the heat. Corn is not looking good this heat is going to take a lot out of this place. Prayers out to all in need.

Well we're off to the races with the damn heat today again over 100 degrees for a high.
It's been over 100°F this last week and for this man could use a break not as young as i was and could handle the temps better.
right now we have 88°F on are way to 106 for today.
I feel for our boys in the big sand box coping with this everyday over 120° some days.

I know it's evening, but I was busy this AM. Heavy rains came through between 0300 and 0400 causing severe flash flooding. Set a record for one hour total rain fall at the Airport weather station with 2.5 inches. Some parts of the city, and area got 4 to 5.5 inches in an hour. Where I'm at we got around 3. Thank goodness I live on a hill. All that water flooded intersections, and streets. My street look like a river for a while.
