Morning All, all I got to say is HOT again today 10 days without rain, NUTS.

Heat advisory has been extended through the weekend. Can't wait for it to cool off to a normal summer time hot.

I just found out that this county is in the middle of a "Severe Drought"....Ponds and lakes drying up all the corn gone brown and the people are praying for a tropical storm without the wind,Ha......
The last time they prayed for alot of rain we got Hurricane Floyd that dumped 18 inches of rain on us and caused the worst flood in a hundred years.....
Time to start building the arc.....

Well, I decided it was time to do some yard work, so I put the French Foreign Legion hat w/sun cape on and got out the weed whacker.
Loaded in a new spool of line and went to it. Got all the 2 foot tall weeds along the fence line and side of the house cut down and then put the whacker away.
Got out the loping shears and cut down the 3 foot high maple saplings growing along the fence line. Al least now it looks "OK" - the wife and son mowed the weeds last week for me, but the one foot was hurting to much to go out.
Enjoyed the warm sun out there. Really did.
Resting in the basement sucking down a bottle of Raspberry flavored water right now...

I was going to complain about how hot it is, and my health....and not getting laid.....then I realized that:

1.) It isn't 120 degrees;

2.) I'm not 5,700 miles from home....so sometimes I get lucky...

3.) I'm not dressed in full battle gear carrying 70+ lbs

4.) There is very little chance that anyone will shoot at me or that I might drive over a bomb in the road today!

5.) So my health concerns are insignificant compared to some.

Thoughts and prayers to the sick and infirmedand ALL in harms way!:beer:

Morning All, Breakfast consumed, Lawn mowed, Grocerie shopping at Wallyworld done. Coffee and AC for this tired old sunburned jarhead. Yesterday was a blast at the water park. There is something for every age to do there. From Miniature Golf, go carts, water slides, bumper boats, and river tubing to just plain laying around watching the hot women walk by and remembering when you were young enough to nail that. LOL Recommend it if you have one nearby. Have a good Sunday none the less. SF
