Got a Walking Stress test at the VA in one hour. Todays horoscope (Aries) didn't offer much in the way of encouragement, but was strangly on the mark. Don't actually believe em, but I read mine in the paper every morning for kicks. After reading mine I told the wife if I have a stroke or heart attack during the test, not to bother leaving work early, cause I will already be at the hospital.

70s here today. Wifey's B-day so we're going out for dinner. I gave here some cash and told her to go buy a new business outfit she's been wanting. She's off shopping for the day, and getting a manicure. I figure it's better to let her buy what she wants than to buy something I think she might want.
Good morning! Well, it's Mom's Day and as I told the lady of the house, it sure as heck feels like it is Mom's Week....maybe even Mom's Year....and she's not even my mom. LOL.
She is well deserving of all the praise though. Took her out for a great lunch at The Olive Garden yesterday thinking that today, Mother's Day, all the eating establishments would be packed to the maximum. I do believe that, even at this hour, 0518, that it was a wise decision. I just bought a new grill as Sgt Jim did and plan on using it today to do some baby back ribs and pork butt using real mesquite wood. This will be my first time doing this; unless there are other unexpected plans I'll be cooking my azz off.
