Morning All, 34 up here on the hill, down in the Valley it's 26. Scattered flurries forecast. Supposed to get down to -3 below tonight. Put the Christmas tree away for another year this AM. Now making me some bacon and beans for lunch. Throw in some seranos for that extra zip, and ya got yerself a popping good time by 1500 in the after-soon. All stay safe and warm. SF
In the 40's here in Austin. Watching, with amusement & horror, the TV and talk radio coverage of that raunchy video made on the USS Enterprise. I just hope that the Navy does not bend to political expediency and correctness. By God, this is a warship at sea. What's the harm in poking some fun at human foibles? Ever wonder how it is that our guys and girls are over there fighting and those folks are over here running the quick shops and motels. Not sure but heard they all get interest free loans for those places. We can't get loans like that..... My thoughts would be they should serve in the military for 4 years honorably then get citizenship. Sometimes, I just don't think its right............................................. .Am I wrong, what do you think????????

I honestly believe that prior military experience should be a non-negotiable requirement to hold any Federal level position from the POTUS on down.
Thank you everyone for the warm Birthday wishes for yesterday .. I did have a nice time with the wife we sat and watched TV and I made Dinner for us and today we plan on a movie together. Maybe I'll get lucky and get a lottery ticket and win a dollar, hahahaha.

Good Morning! Not much going on today. Wife and kids went to the library so now the house is nice and quiet for now. When they get home the Christmas tree comes down and I'll haul all the mess back out to the shed.
We finally have seasonally normal weather here. Going to make it to the mid 50's. Save some on that gas bill.
