Looking for Platoon Photo and Platoon Yearbook from Boot Camp

Hello Marines,

I am in search of the following Recruit Platoon Photos and Graduation Yearbooks from MCRD San Diego, CA.

For my father
Plt 168, 1st RTBn, RTR Graduated 1962

For myself
Plt 2063, G Co, 2nd RTBn, RTR Graduated 23 Aug, 1985

And for my best friend
Plt 1044, 1st RTBn, RTR Graduated 17 Aug, 1977

If any one can be of assitance I would greatly appreciate it. If they have the platoon photos saved to their computer they can send copies to me as email attachments to

Looking for recruit book, 1969 paris island, march, platoon 141

I am not sure how far this will go back..

However, you can call the Recruit Depot you attended and just might be able to retrive a copy of your photos and yearbook. If they are not able to locate it, they might be able to direct you to the archives it will cataloged under.

I only say this, because I was able to retrive a copy of my bootcamp picture through this method.. However, I graduated bootcamp in 2006..

Well to go into more detail.. I had to call the depot for permission to copy my photos professionally, since they are watermarked with copyrights.

Well, during the conversation the individual thought I was trying to retrive a copy at first and was attempting to direct me (with a phone number) to an archive that housed my platoon's photos and yearbook.

Looking for series 3041 from MCRD San Diego I know after Graduation they went to Okinawa in after Camp Pendleton what did they become in the 3rd Marine Division
