yes but it really doesn't matter, billet holders will be hired and fired every couple of days. SOI is just like boot camp, not really a place to "stand out" just do what you're told and get through it.
Congratulations on your infantry contract...thay are few and far between.
Anyone attending can be put into a leadership position to test you out (Pvts, PFCs, etc). Though they don't mean much, it is a good experience in applying leadership traits and principles you learned in boot camp to get the job done.
