Brothers I regret to inform you that we have lost our 10th SMMC, SgtMaj Robert E. Cleary.
SgtMaj Cleary passed away in the hospital at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital Sunday night from complications with lung and liver infections as he fought a hard fight with Leukemia. Our Brother served from 1951 to 1987 and served as the SMMC from 1983 to 1987.
His wife, June and daughter Mary asked that we hold off on calls yesterday as they were speaking to the funeral home about arrangements. I'll send the details out once received.
