Good Evening Devil Dogs,
I am a Sergeant with 6 years TIS and I am wondering if any of you know the answer if I could transfer to the Navy? Apparently, the Navy does not accept prior service members to their active duty.. otherwise that is the route I would go. I am trying to gain acceptance to BUD/S, any knowledge?
That is weird because in the 1980s I knew a lot of Marines that became Navy Corpsmen.

I went from the Corps to the navy for the same reason, they sent me to D C because the navy yard had a hyperbaric (sp) chamber that you had to go through before buds, while waiting for orders the navy transferred me to the USS Sequoia.that was the end of buds.
When did you go? And how?
