Received notification in 60 days I will lose my disability unless I prove I am married and not living with wife after which Regional VA will take my disability after 45 yrs.
This is such bull****, they know I am married but not living with wife because she took of 20 yrs ago due to my PTSD. I HATE THESE PEOPLE !!!!!
easy, Riven... all you need to do is to provide a copy of your marriage certificate to VA.. unless there is a record of a divorce somewhere, you're good... get yourself to your service officer and let him handle this... once you've got this squared away, take her OFF of your award, you'll only loose about $160.00 anyway and you will not have these kind of hassles again.....
I know you are angry, but the those people don't care about us, they just making our life harder. there is nothing we can do just follow oldtop advice.
Riven...remain calm, take Oldtops advice, don't fight with the bureaucracy...you'll win this and be alright.
