I run into individuals once in a while, during my line of work, who claim to be Marines.
I question them
Me: what does Semper Fedelis mean?
Response: I dont know?
Moreover, I find it hard to believe that a retired Marine cannot re-sight their core motto. Am I missing something or am I right?
So my question to you is... If you were NOT in the Marine Corps, who are you to question anyone if they were or weren't ?

An enlistment in the MarineCorps doesn't mean
when discharged that we are responsible to, or required to, give

No point in worrying about this bro, just for get about it. Besides no one likes being questioned about the Marine Corps from a poole to see if one was actually a Marine. So he was probably messing with you...
