Trying to get back into our Beloved Corps

I got out of the Corps in May 2010. I got an honorable discharge with re-enlistment code of RE-1A. The only thing that has me puzzled is that I have PFT failures and I dont see how I got that RE code. Trust me im not complaining!!! If I do try to re-enlist will these affect me? The failures didnt come from lack of physical abilitay, but mental ability. My dad passed away and before my unit would let me go on emergency leave they made me run a pft and finish the rifle range, after that everytime
