Combat History:

Operations - Jackstay, Osage, Apache, Colorado, Franklin, Napa and Sutter. (We actually only passed throug Chu Lai heading north) Two months after returning to CONUS my unit (M/4/13) was issued 782 gear and deploy to the Mideast during the 6 Day War in Isreal...but, I got lucky...it ended in 6 days.

Military Biography:

WIA 9/11/66 - somehow survived friendly fire while on LP 7/9/66. My good friend Floyd Wayne Hamiltion was KIA in May of '66 during a firefight...and Brother Frank Presby KIA during the battle at Hill 362...RIP Brothers.
