I haven't seen my girl in about 4 months. Shes coming to see me in 3 weeks, and I'm going to pickup the engagement ring on the 1st. Me and her are just trying to figure out a way to get stationed together. Sounds like ospreys so I can be at new river is the only real good option I have.

Thank you. Im just worried because ive never been the best scolorly.Infact i hated school. alot of it didnt seem practical.I would have rather DID something then sit around and talk about it.
But more than that, i dont want to wash out of the class and end up serving chow.

Your a FireFighter now correct? I was wondering if you have any words on what kind of careers I should be looking for if i deicide the Corpe isnt for me past my 4 years? After my recruiter talked me out of 03, i just looked thru the book and thought NBC would be the best job for if I leave. With the talk of Dirty Bombs and mass terrorists attacks,i feel someone like a CBRN Marine would be in great value. Is this true?

I want to make the most of my time as would anyone. If i can get togather a plan before i leave for boot, i think id be better off, because i can take the neccecary college classes while im in to get me where i need to go.

What you have described is similar with what I have read. If you don't mind me asking, what were your duties during Desert Storm? I want to be deployed at least once and I would like to have an idea of what I would be doing. I actually enjoy teaching different things, I taught all summer at a boy scout camp. Firefighting or police officer was my plan if my Marine Corps plan fell through. Thank you for your message.

When I decided that the Marine Corps is what I truly wanted, I got a book of all the MOSs the Corps had. I looked through almost all of them. I came upon NBC and read the description. I then went online and researched more. I became fascinated with what I read. Although I do not know the job first hand, I feel it would be something I could excel in.

People say their heroes are Superman & Batman flying around & protecting comic book cities. It’s obvious to me they’ve never met a Marine because if they did their heroes would be wearing Dress Blues or Combat Boots, not spandex & capes.

So here is a big thank you for your service & wishing you a happy 4th of July weekend from a very thankful & proud American.
